The Harrogate Band is please to offer its band room to bands competing in the Finals on the weekend of 26/27/28 September 2008. The table on the right indicates the times the band room may be booked, at the rate of £25 per session. In the first instance only one session per band will be accepted - on a first come, first served basis. If there are any sessions still free in July, they will only then be offered to bands with existing bookings.
If you are interested, please email or telephone me to reserve your choice of sessions. Each session is 1½ hours allowing a good hour for rehearsal with time either side to set up and pack up.
If our facilities are not available for the dates/times you wish, there is a list of alterative venues in Harrogate and the district, with contact details that, hopefully, you will find useful.
Our bandroom is a good size and easily accommodates a band with full percussion. Our percussion, including pedal timpani, tam-tam, tubular bells, xylophone, glockenspiel and vibraphone, are available for use. There is space for supporters with coffee/tea and soft drinks. There is access for disabled persons to the bandroom. Full details and instructions will be provided once bookings are confirmed.
As the "home" band we wish all bands the very best of luck. If there are ways we can help to make your visit to Harrogate more enjoyable, successful and productive, please let me know. Members of the Harrogate Band will be pleased to assist, either before the event or during your stay - and if we cannot, I am sure we can put you in touch with someone who can!

Please note: We do ask for payment in advance. Cheques should be made payable to "The Harrogate Band". For bookings up to 31st July 2008, payment is due by 15th August 2008. Thereafter payment should be made within seven days of the booking. Fees are refundable only if the booking is cancelled on or before 20th August 2008.
