A concert featuring popular music composed for musical theatre, film and TV.
We would provide a compère who would interact with the audience and we would present a lively, entertaining programme with audience participation and plenty of fun.
Some examples of the music we could play would be:
- Pirates - of the Caribbean - or - of Penzance
- James Bond
- Harry Potter
- The Blues Brothers
- Disney
- Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cats
- Batman
- The Godfather
- Star Wars
- My Fair Lady
- Mary Poppins
- West Side Story
- Oklahoma
- Carousel
As you can see this gives people plenty of scope for fancy dress! Try going on a search engine and searching for 'music from stage and screen' and you will see that this is a popular concept for a concert. We have a large number of pieces in our library covering shows from the earliest days to recent years.
The concert seating could be cabaret style with an open bar throughout and the audience could be encouraged to wear fancy dress.
The duration of the concert would be approximately two hours in an interval of 15 minutes.
