Ergon Brass Octet


The Ergon Brass Octet is a professional brass ensemble based in Edmonton, Canada. The group consists of symphony musicians and top call freelance artists from the area.

The regular line-up of the octet consists of 3 trumpets, flugel, horn, trombone, euphonium and tuba. The original concept was to add colour and increased potential to the standard brass quintet. The group also performs as a sextet (311.01) and as a dectet (423.01)

We welcome any repertoire suggestions that may suit these three ensembles.
